木の板に当たる水の音に似ている。
だが、それがどこで起こっているか不明。
よくわからないまま家の中へ戻らんとする。
ところが、来客のようだ。
スーツ姿の見知らぬ婦人が笑顔で近寄る。
印刷物に手書きされた書類を差し出し
「こんな感じでよろしいでしょうか？」
返答のしようがない。
なにかのアンケート用紙らしい。
母の知り合いではないかと思われる。
はて、亡くなったことを知っているのだろうか。
それを伝えるべきか、しばし迷う。

I bend down in front of my house
and stand with a mattress on my back.
