実家のようでもある知人の家に寄る。
庭の日当たりに飼い犬が寝そべっていた。
日差しが頭に当たり、かなり辛そうな表情。
きっと喉が渇いているのだろう。
日射病かもしれない。
「水をやろうか？」
声をかけてみる。
すると、情けない顔と声で犬が返事をした。
「チョ、チョコレート」
ほう、そうか。
水よりチョコレートが欲しいのか。
