深夜、オートバイに乗っていた。
思い出せないが、誰かと一緒だった。
途中、免許証を持っていないことに気づく。
近眼なのに眼鏡もかけていない。
「おれ、もう帰るよ」
そのように相棒に伝える。
路肩の闇にパトカーが停まっていた。
通り過ぎる寸前、その照明がつく。
しまった。見つかった。
待ち伏せていたようだ。
逃げようと加速したが、すぐに観念する。
逃げ切れる自信などない。
不愉快な手続きがしばらく続く予感。
Police Car in the Dark
I was riding a motorcycle at midnight.
I can't remember, but I was with someone.
Along the way, I find myself not having a driver's license.
I have myopia, but I don't wear glasses.
"I'm going home."
Tell my buddy that way.
A police car was parked in the darkness of the shoulder.
Just before I passed by, the lights came on.
Oops. I was found.
They seem to have been ambushed.
I accelerated to escape,
but I immediately thought about it.
I don't have the confidence to run away.
I have a feeling
that unpleasant procedures will continue for a while.
